Aycliffe
Young People's Centre Aycliffe is a controlled Community Home managed
by Durham County Council under Section 53(4) of the 1989 Children Act.
It provides a range of social work, education and training services for
young people between the ages of 12 and 18.

After Children - the centre's core task |
Achieving good outcomes for young people is fundamental to the work
of the Centre. The report published by the Department of Health Looking
After Children: Assessing Outcomes in Child Care, was approved by
the Social Services Committee as the prime planning method for children
in the Looked After System.
